Training Curriculum

Research can provide powerful insight into questions that impact the day-to-day quality of life of communities. Having a broad understanding of how to design, conduct, and analyze research can help community members become engaged partners ready to collaborate on research studies with local relevance.

The CHIRP research training is designed to be delivered to active, engaged community-based professionals with this goal in mind. Each module can serve as a stand-alone unit – however, they are designed to complement the planning and implementation of a pilot research study.

Most of the sessions include a downloadable PowerPoint presentation, a PDF file of the slides, and video of the presentation.
